AIR JORDAN 2 LOW – OG SP Off White Chicago

The Off-White x Air Jordan 2 Low OG “Chicago” is a collaboration between Virgil Abloh’s high fashion and streetwear brand and Jordan Brand on a vintage-inspired colorway of Michael Jordan’s second signature shoe. Off-White’s Air Jordan 2 Low honors the classic retro basketball shoe’s 35-year anniversary by reimagining the model’s original “Chicago” colorway in the brand’s popular “new-vintage” aesthetic. Modifications to the design of the Air Jordan 2 Low by Off-White include a pre-yellowed, pre-“cracked” midsole that replicates the look of crumbled soles associated with original 1987 pairs of the Jordan 2. The upper is constructed from white tumbled leather. Industrial-style Off-White branding is stamped onto the medial side of the shoe. Michael Jordan’s signature appears on the collar of the lateral side. Red “Wings” branding resides on the white leather tongue and Off-White’s signature “SHOELACES” detailing can be found on the black laces. The exposed foam padding found on the collar is consistent with the styling of Off-White’s Air Jordan collaborations. .

Air Jordan 2 Retro OG – Chicago 2022

The Air Jordan 2 OG “Chicago 2022” is the modern reissue of the original colorway of Michael Jordan’s second signature shoe. Following a handful of special collaborations by Off-White, Union, and many others, the Jordan 2 was officially back in a regular release cycle in late 2021 and throughout 2022. The return of the Jordan 2 “Chicago” is the proverbial “cherry on top” of all of the silhouette’s releases. Styled identically from the original Jordan 2 “Chicago” from 1986, the modern version features a white leather construction with perforated detailing on the forefoot. A tonal faux snakeskin overlay is found on the midfoot. Fiery red accents appear on the heel counter below a red “NIKE” logo. The Air Jordan 2’s classic “Wings” logo is found on the tongue. The black midsole is paired with a white and red rubber outsole to complete the look of this timeless Jordan 2 colorway. Release date: December 30, 2022. BRAND STYLE ID: DX2454 106 .

Air Jordan 5 Retro SP – Off-White Sail

The Off-White x Air Jordan 5 “Sail” is the follow-up to Virgil Abloh’s initial Jordan 5 collaboration from early 2020. Images of the “Sail” colorway surfaced around the same time Off-White and Jordan Brand released the black-based Jordan 5 in February 2020. Like the black version, this design features Abloh’s singular deconstructed aesthetic. The upper displays exposed foam, mesh detailing, and a transparent film with die-cut circles placed randomly on the body and tongue in reference to the Jordan 2010. Off-White’s signature industrial inspired styling is applied throughout, including the Helvetica text on the laces and medial side. Both the embroidered Jumpman on the silver reflective tongue and “23” branding on the heel are finished off in Fire Red as a call back to the original styling of Michael Jordan’s “Player Exclusive” version. Additional nostalgic elements like the “Nike Air” on the heel and pre-yellowed outsole give the shoe a vintage look. Release date: October 24, 2020. .

Converse Chuck 70 Hi Off White – WHITE CONE BLACK

Converse and Virgil Abloh’s Off-White teamed up once again to re-release the Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star 70s Hi Off-White. This canvas model served as a follow-up to Abloh’s first Converse collaboration that was part of the "The Ten" collection. While the all-white canvas upper of the Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star 70s Hi Off-White draws similarities to classic non-collaborative colorways, there are many points of differentiation. To start, the black and white caution tape-themed midsole nods to one of Off-White’s key design motifs. Next, "Off-White™ for CONVERSE ‘CHUCK TAYLOR ALL-STAR’ Malden, Massachusetts USA c. 1917" is screen printed on the inside medial panel of the upper. To round out this Off-White Chuck Taylor, a modified star patch appears on the ankle and a signature orange zip-tie is hooked to the laces. .
